About Kgothatso Lindiwe
I am a qualified sociologist, I have tutoring experience by having facilitated a 3rd-year level university sociology group. I have great communicative skills which are important in facilitating students to ensure that they understand the content being taught. Having majored in English in my undergraduate degree I have experience in language studies.

I am a highly energetic, fun and patient individual so I feel most comfortable teaching young children between the ages of 5 and 10. My teaching method aims to make children more confident speaking English by building their vocabulary with useful everyday words that describe objects, actions and sound out or decode unfamiliar words. Children will first learn how to spell these words before we progress to grammar and punctuation. The aim is to form conversational English so the progression to grammar using the words learned is used in the development of sentences, phrases, and clauses. This progressing to punctuating these sentences and using the necessary parts of speech to create complex sentences. My teaching plan is one that tries to make children feel more confident speaking conversational and understandable English. If the child is progressing we can then progress to literature and hopefully inspire young bookworms. I am also happy to facilitate using the child’s school resources and materials to tutor.
