About Mira
I am a Physics tutor with over 11 years of teaching experience and hold an MSc in Applied Physics. My passion lies in making the study of optics and wave phenomena both accessible and inspiring. Students working with me learn to understand light, sound, and electromagnetic waves in a clear and structured way. I emphasize core topics such as ray tracing, interference, and diffraction. I have guided students across fields including photonics, telecommunications, and imaging sciences. These areas show how physics forms the backbone of modern technology and innovation. My teaching philosophy blends conceptual understanding with problem-solving practice. I aim to ensure students not only know how to apply formulas but also appreciate the principles behind them. Learning about waves deepens our awareness of the world. It reveals how we perceive sound, capture images, and send signals across vast distances. Helping students uncover this joy is why I love teaching physics.

Physics is not just formulas—it is the language of nature. My teaching method is designed to help students actively understand and apply this language through simple explanations and real-life examples.
I focus on Newtonian mechanics, including forces and motion, and energy conservation. These topics are taught as interconnected ideas that explain how the physical world behaves.
My lessons are practical and problem-focused. Students practice applying laws to real and theoretical situations, learning step by step how to approach challenges logically.
I give dedicated support to learners who think as Career Re-aligners and Theorists. For them, I create opportunities to analyze deeply while also guiding them to apply ideas effectively.
In the end, my teaching is about building both skill and curiosity. When students see how physics explains what they experience every day, they gain lasting confidence and joy in learning.
