About Divya

I am a Psychology postgraduate, UGC NET and JRF qualified, currently working as an Assistant Professor and Counseling Psychologist. My interest in Psychology has taught me that positive thinking is not about ignoring difficulties or pretending everything is fine; it is about learning to understand our thoughts, question unhelpful patterns, and approach life's challenges with greater clarity and perspective. I aim to make these concepts accessible, practical, and meaningful, helping learners develop a more thoughtful relationship with themselves and the situations they encounter.

About the lesson

My classes focus on developing a healthier, more balanced approach to thoughts, emotions, and everyday challenges. Through practical exercises, self-reflection, real-life examples, and interactive discussions, students learn to recognise unhelpful thinking patterns, develop more constructive perspectives, and build emotional resilience. Each session is adapted to individual needs and goals, with an emphasis on practical strategies that can be applied in daily life. My approach is rooted in psychological understanding rather than simply encouraging people to think positively about everything.
