About Bethel
I’m a sewing tutor with over half a decade of experience and a Foundation Certificate in Fashion Design and Business from ESMOD Paris. I’ve worked in the fashion industry, in various roles, with brands such as Christian Dior, Labrum London, and Coco Conran Bridal, gaining valuable technical skills and creative insight. I teach sewing, pattern-making, and draping to all levels—from complete beginners to more experienced learners. My lessons are friendly, practical, and tailored to your goals, whether you want to make clothes for yourself, work on a creative project, or develop your skills. Sewing is more than just a technique—it’s a creative outlet, and I’m here to help you enjoy the process while building your confidence and skills!

My lessons are hands-on, interactive, and fully tailored to your goals—whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills. I can cover everything from the basics of sewing, draping on a mannequin, and pattern-making to more specialised projects, such as developing your own designs, creating garments from scratch, or learning how to read and use commercial patterns. If you have a creative project in mind, I’ll guide you through the process step-by-step, ensuring you gain both the skills and confidence to bring your ideas to life! I typically recommend 2-hour sessions, which allow enough time to explain techniques, demonstrate them, and give you hands-on practice. (These sessions can be shorter or longer depending on your project and schedule!) With a Foundation Certificate in Fashion Design and Business from ESMOD Paris and over half a decade of sewing experience, I have worked in the fashion industry, in various roles, working with brands such as Christian Dior, Labrum London, and Coco Conran Bridal. My lessons are suitable for: - Complete beginners wanting to learn the basics of sewing, draping and/or pattern making - Intermediate learners looking to improve their technique or work with patterns - Learners who want to develop personal or professional projects - Creative hobbyists of all ages Whether your aim is to make clothes for yourself, develop a portfolio, or work towards a career in fashion, I’ll adapt the lessons to suit you.

Perfect! Bethel has been a great tutor to my daughter. She has taught her very well, including the basics of a sewing machine, how to thread it, and constantly helps her to improve her skills. Bethel allows you to make anything of your desire, and is an excellent person to be around with. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is keen to learn sewing.
