About Sergio

Professional guitarist offers to teach modern and/or classical guitar at beginner- beginner- intermediate level. I have taught both children and adults. I adapt to the person in front of me, trying to make the classes enjoyable, entertaining and personalised to the student's taste. As for my professional career, I have played with my group PERANOIA in national festivals such as Viña Rock, Arenal Sound, Festival de Les Arts, Cabo de Plata, Montgorock Jávea... I have also played with orchestras, other groups and chamber groups. I have trained with modern guitar teachers in Valencia and Madrid. I continue to train constantly as I am passionate about music and the guitar. I have attended a professional conservatory of classical guitar. As for teaching, I have been giving private lessons for 5 years, contributing my knowledge that I have acquired during my time with different teachers and methodologies. This gives me a wide range of ways to approach the class depending on the type of person I have in front of me and their musical tastes and objectives. I have a home studio equipped with the necessary material to give the classes without having to worry about everyone being at home. I have a camera, a good connection and a good microphone. About the lesson

I am Sergio Cano, Spanish professional musician and guitar teacher with 7 years of experience. I have played in famous music festivals in Spain like Viña Rock, Arenal Sound, Festival de les arts... with my band. ¿WHAT I OFFER YOU? - Guitar classes, musical language, harmony, composition... different possibilities to improve your music skills, to enjoy playing your favourite songs and guitar solos, and writing your own songs from the scratch. - All levels welcome, especially beginners - Mixing the guitar or music learning with SPANISH. I have a B2 English level so you don't need a high Spanish level to understand us, and you can improve both at the same time. - An effective method to improve your guitar and music level from 0 (no matter if it's your first time playing the guitar) to an advanced level. I listen to what you like and what your objectives are and I adapt the classes accordingly. - Playing your favourite songs from the second or third class to see how your progress is going in the real songs you know. ¿HOW ARE THE CLASSES? - Online, by Skype, Zoom, Google Hangouts or similar. I personally prefer Skype. ¿HOW MANY CLASSES SHOULD I BOOK? - More classes per week is better, I personally recommend a maximum of 3 classes per week. Depending on your time you can book more. You can change the number of classes per week when you want, don't worry! WHICH AGES DO YOU TEACH? - All ages, I have taught kids from small children to adults. WHAT DO I NEED FOR YOUR CLASSES? - A guitar, papers, pen, Paypal to pay for the classes, PC with webcam and a software like Skype, Zoom, Hangouts or similar, and a desire to learn.
