About Rachel
I have been a learning disability tutor for the last 10 years, and have Advanced Tutor Certification from the National Tutoring Association. I have tutored high school and college students. My students have had a 97% success rate, and my students have gone on to great careers post-college. As an adjunct college professor, I have first hand knowledge of what goes into the rigors of college, and I know what it takes to be successful.

Good tutors do not just teach - they learn with and from their students. As part of my tutoring, I spend extensive time learning how the student learns. Then, I work with them by breaking down individual concepts and working on them. I call these building blocks - taking one concept, mastering it, then applying it to something new. I also am a master in homework helping and academic coaching, and have several certifications for online learning.

Travel is included for travel time under 30 minutes.
Travel time over 30 minutes will add $2 to the tutoring fee.
Cancellations within 24 hours will result in billing for 1 hour of tutoring ($40). Illness excepted.
After 3 cancellations, the student will be dropped from my tutoring schedule.
