I tailor each session to the learner’s needs, using: Multi-sensory techniques (visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning) Scaffolded learning—breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps Metacognitive strategies—helping students understand how they learn best Practical, real-life applications to make learning relevant and engaging For students with dyslexia, ADHD, or language processing difficulties, I use structured, research-backed strategies to build confidence, improve retention, and develop independent learning skills. Lesson Structure & Duration Typical lessons last 45 - 90 minutes, depending on the student’s needs and attention span. Sessions include: ️ A warm-up activity to activate thinking and focus ️ Core instruction using interactive, hands-on strategies ️ Guided practice with immediate feedback ️ Reflection & planning for independent study Qualifications & Experience I have over 17 years of classroom teaching experience and have spent the last 15 years researching learning difficulties.
