About Makayla
Hi! My name is Makayla, and I’m passionate about helping others improve their English in a friendly, comfortable, and encouraging environment.
I have spent two years studying English under my own English teacher, developing my skills in grammar, writing, reading, pronunciation, enunciation, and communication. Through my studies, I learned the importance of patience, practice, and having someone who makes learning feel enjoyable rather than stressful.
As a tutor, I strive to be understanding, supportive, and professional. I take the time to listen to each student and understand their individual goals so that I can make lessons useful and enjoyable for them. Whether you want to improve your writing, proofreading, pronunciation, reading, or everyday English communication, I’m here to help you build your skills and confidence.
I believe that everyone has the ability to improve, and I would love to be part of your learning journey. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, encouraged, and proud of your progress after every lesson. I look forward to meeting you and helping you reach your English goals!

Hi! I’m excited to help you become more confident and comfortable with English! I believe learning English should be fun, encouraging, and something you can feel good about. Everyone learns differently, so I like to make my lessons personal and adjust them to what works best for you.
I studied English for two years under my own English teacher, which helped me build my knowledge and confidence in writing, grammar, pronunciation, enunciation, reading, and communication. I’m excited to share what I’ve learned and help others improve their English in a relaxed and friendly environment.
My teaching style is patient, positive, and easygoing. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, practicing, and even making mistakes. Mistakes are a normal part of learning! Instead of simply correcting you, I’ll explain things clearly and help you understand how and why something can be improved.
A typical lesson can include a little conversation to get comfortable, followed by activities based on what you would like to work on. We might practice pronunciation and enunciation, work on writing and sentence structure, proofread something together, practice reading aloud, learn new vocabulary, or simply have conversations to build your confidence speaking English.
What makes my lessons different is that I want them to feel like a friendly learning experience rather than a stressful class. I’ll take the time to understand your goals and focus on the areas where you need the most help. Whether you’re just starting to learn English, want to improve your writing and proofreading, need help with pronunciation, or simply want to feel more confident speaking English, I’d be happy to learn and grow with you!
Most importantly, I want you to leave each lesson feeling like you learned something new and feeling proud of your progress.
