About Elizabeth

I want you to feel confident in hiring me. I want to reassure you that your child will be listened to, will be heard, and will be respected. Every child has special qualities and talents and those are what I will choose to use when I meet with them. I also want you to know that I don’t have a college degree, but I like to say I have a degree in life! I have learned so much by living in different countries and meeting people from all backgrounds. I was also an Aide to both a Special Education teacher as well as a Kindergarten teacher when I lived in Germany, through the Department of Defense School system. And I found that working with children of all backgrounds was truly my calling! Please contact me with any questions, I want you to feel confident and welcome if you hire me.

About the lesson

Hello! My name is Elizabeth and I can’t wait to meet you! Let me start by telling you about myself. I have lived in many states and lived in Europe for 13 years. I love diversity and value all opinions. I have worked with Special Education students and Kindergarteners. I also homeschooled my son for a few years and he is now an English Professor and a published author! So I truly believe that EVERYTHING is possible with the right approach. I believe that every student is unique and I will tailor my lessons for each individual. The subjects I tutor can be perceived as boring by young learners, but I like to incorporate fun activities, that they look forward to, instead of dreading. Please reach out, when you’re ready and I’ll answer any questions you may have. My rate is $16, per one-hour session and I’m offering your first session free! I look forward to hearing from you!!
