About Lanre

I’m a Creative Business Entrepreneur and Actor with a passion for connecting business and creativity. I achieved an A in Business Studies at GCSE and AS Level, hold a BA in Business Management (2:1), and an MSc in Management, Finance & Accounting (2:1), with my dissertation exploring the impact of technology on consumers and society. Alongside my business career, I have over eight years’ experience in acting, with credits for Marvel, Disney+, and the BAFTA-winning BBC short film Quiet Life. I also run my own production company, Waju Studios, producing original films and projects that combine culture, creativity, and business insight. I bring this unique mix of business expertise and creative experience to every lesson, giving students both academic excellence and real-world perspective.

About the lesson

I approach each lesson with a creative and supportive mindset. We begin by journalling how you feel about the subject to uncover any blocks, challenges, or doubts. This helps us start from a place of clarity. We then build structure around what you need to learn. Identifying your strengths and weaknesses across Themes 1–4. From there, we create a tailored plan starting with your weakest theme. Each session begins with a short quiz to review the previous lesson, and we work through the AO (Assessment Objectives) structure step by step. We end with a brief 2-minute reflection exercise to consolidate learning. I have experience tutoring students across AQA, Edexcel, and OCR exam boards, ensuring lessons are tailored to your specific syllabus. Qualifications & Experience: BA in Business Management (Merit, 2:1) MSc in Management, Finance & Accounting (Merit, 2:1) A in Business Studies at both GCSE and AS Level 5+ years of tutoring, facilitation, and business mentoring experience Former Marketing Manager at Sky TV and Quidco Founder of a creative production company delivering real-world projects - Waju Studios. Sessions are 1–2 hours and designed for A-Level and GCSE Business Studies students (typically aged 16+, including resit students and adult learners) who need targeted help in specific areas.
