Essay writing, especially under timed conditions such as those at GCSE, can be very daunting. If memorising banks and banks of quotes wasn't enough, you also have to get your essay style and technique just right in order to gain as many marks as possible. During our sessions, I am willing to adjust my teaching style and focus on specific areas that the student finds most difficult - whether that's picking out analyses and interpretations, memorising quotes or structuring an essay. I will also be happy to help with homework and go through past paper questions, and give feedback on essays the student has written.
