About Pratikshya

Hi, I’m Pratikshya — an A-Level Economics student who achieved top results, including being a Nepal topper, and I’m currently pursuing ACCA.

Over the past few years, I’ve worked with multiple students in Economics, Business, and Accounting, helping them improve their understanding and, more importantly, their exam performance. My experience has shown me that most students don’t struggle because they’re not capable — they struggle because they aren’t taught the right way to approach these subjects.

As someone who has gone through the same exams and achieved top grades, I understand exactly what examiners look for and where students typically lose marks. This allows me to guide students not just in learning content, but in applying it effectively under exam conditions.

I take my teaching seriously and always aim to create a structured, supportive, and results-focused learning environment. I’m patient, approachable, and committed to making sure every student feels comfortable asking questions and improving at their own pace.

About the lesson

My name is Pratikshya, and my approach to teaching is focused on one goal: helping students achieve top grades through clarity, strategy, and consistent practice.

I don’t believe in passive learning. My teaching style is highly interactive, where students are encouraged to think, ask questions, and actively engage with concepts rather than just memorizing them. I simplify complex topics in Economics, Business, and Accounting into easy-to-understand ideas, using real-world examples so students can actually understand what they are learning.

In terms of techniques, I focus heavily on exam-oriented preparation. This includes breaking down past paper questions, teaching answer structures that examiners look for, and helping students master how to write high-scoring answers. I also identify each student’s weak areas early and customize lessons to target those specific gaps.

A typical class is structured in three parts. First, we quickly review previous concepts to reinforce understanding. Then we move into the main topic, where I explain concepts clearly and step-by-step. Finally, we apply what we’ve learned through exam-style questions, where I guide students on how to think and write like a top-performing candidate.

What makes me different as a teacher is my focus on results and exam strategy. As someone who has achieved top results myself, I understand exactly what it takes to get an A*. I don’t just teach content — I teach students how to approach exams, manage time, and avoid common mistakes that cost marks.

My classes are mainly intended for A-Level and IGCSE students studying Economics, Business, or Accounting. However, I can also help students who are beginners or anyone looking to build a strong foundation in these subjects.

My goal is simple: to make learning clear, effective, and focused on helping you achieve the best possible results.
