About Jeff

I’m a certified Michigan educator with over a decade of experience teaching math and science to middle and high school students. I’ve worked in both traditional classrooms and virtual settings, including serving as the director of a K–12 virtual school where I led curriculum development, staff training, and student support. I hold advanced degrees in education and am currently completing my doctorate in Higher Education Administration. My approach is grounded in clarity, patience, and making sure every student feels capable and supported. Whether you’re preparing for a big exam or just trying to make sense of a tough concept, I’ll meet you where you are and help you build both skills and confidence.

About the lesson

As a certified Michigan teacher with a strong background in both online and in-person instruction, I specialize in helping students truly understand math and science—especially those who’ve struggled before. With years of experience teaching algebra, chemistry, physics, and calculus, I break down complex concepts into clear, relatable steps. I’ve taught for Michigan Virtual and led virtual and hybrid programs at the district level, so I know how to meet students where they are—academically and personally. Whether your student needs support catching up or is ready to move ahead, I bring a calm, practical, and encouraging approach that builds confidence and results.
