About Bethany
I have been a high school teacher for over 15 years, and have taught at the collegiate level in teacher preparation programs for two years. My students focus on building skills that allow them to comprehend the world around them in an academic way that focuses on reading for understanding, critical reading strategies, research and evidence-based learning, and written communication. Before I taught in the US, I taught English in Thailand.

I work with middle school through college-level learners, including English Language Learners and those needing support with academic writing, reading comprehension, or literacy skills. My goal is to empower students not just to perform better—but to think critically, write clearly, and love the learning process.
