About Alex

As a student of Life Sciences, I am drawn to learning about the world around us! My experiences range from being in a classroom as a student and a teacher, sharing about the wonders of life and the foundation of our existence. With experience studying the natural world, my interests are centered in nature and ecology, with a focus on biology and chemistry. My hobbies include observing the lives of birds and understanding their ecosystems, playing and creating music, reading and researching environmental sciences and systems, cooking and baking delicious meals and snacks, guiding and instructing recreational wilderness activities, exercising in nature, and connecting with curious people! I look forward to meeting you and learning about how I can support your journey in STEM!!

About the lesson

As we explore the world of STEM, we often come across more questions than answers... We are curious about the roots of life, and the origins of our understanding of how it came to be known. In learning about YOUR special interests, our time together will be structured in relatable and constructive lessons, while diving in to nurture your passions! :)
