About Lucia
I'm a recent college graduate from the University of Colorado Boulder with a degree in Linguistics and a TESOL track. I have extensive experience as a language tutor since I was 14, providing tutoring services to family and friends. As a language learner myself, I was exposed to various teaching methods and techniques growing up that allowed me to have a better approach to teaching based on different learning needs and goals. I strive to build a safe space for you to feel comfortable asking questions and not be afraid to make mistakes. You will always be involved in the design of the plan and its contents, I will not move forward until you're satisfied with our lesson plan because your feelings and input are what's most important to me to assess your learning goals!

My lessons are targeted at international students in college, but they can be adjusted to meet beginners, intermediates, and low-intermediate levels. I design individualized plans with authentic content ( news articles, tv shows, movies, video clips, podcasts, etc) to help improve your English skills to that of a native speaker.
