About Liz
I am an undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. I began my college career as a full-time, in-person student at Tufts University, and transferred to UF Online to pursue professional tennis and other interests. I am an experienced tutor and have had enormous amounts of success in many subjects, notably Algebra, Geometry, and Reading. I have also achieved stellar results with children with ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning disabilities. I genuinely look forward to all of my tutoring sessions, because seeing my kids succeed and seeing them happy makes me extremely happy. Here is my business page: (concealed information)
I started tutoring as a way to support my professional tennis ambitions, but it has grown into much more than that. Tutoring has become one of the best parts of my day, along with training for the sport that I love and spending time with my loved ones. There are not many things that make me happier than seeing the smiles on my students' and their parents' faces when they bring home exceptional grades.
I help my kids with everything! I have helped my students write speeches, poems, and essays that won them awards, recognition, and student government positions in their schools. I have also assisted students in college applications and course planning.
I took all levels of Calculus in high school, and achieved an AP score of 5 on both AP Calculus exams. I participated in math competitions throughout my elementary and middle school years, and continue to carry my passion for math with me as I explore Computer Science, Data Science, and Analytics. I achieved a 1560 SAT score and a 34 ACT score after one attempt each.

My ultimate goal is to build my students' confidence in their skills and themselves, and I emphasize a loving and caring environment in my lessons. The first thing that I address when it comes to any student is trying to build their confidence. I believe that confidence and the willingness to try, fail, and try again are the best qualities any student can have. I truly believe that these qualities are, truly, the only ones you need to become a successful, high-achieving student.
A typical lesson will begin by going over the specific concept that the student is struggling with, then reviewing any homework or test problems that the student brings to class. I also provide worksheets, sample tests, and study guides to aid my students. My lessons are for any students from elementary to college.
