About Louise
As a mature student, prior to undertaking my medical degree I worked within the construction sector as an information manager. This job required me to be highly organised in an often very busy and stressful environment based around strict deadlines.
A fundamental aspect of my medical degree is small group learning, in which we work together to help each other learn and achieve the best outcomes.
The skills and learning styles that I have developed throughout my degree and previous career is something that I will use in my approach to tutoring.

Hello my name is Louise and I am a mature student studying medicine in London. My main subject areas are biology, biochemistry and anatomy. I am able to teach GCSE, A-levels and some undergraduates in these subject areas. I can also help those doing their GCSEs and school level maths, physics and chemistry.
I am a strong believer in pro-active learning and 3 point lesson plans that will involve preparation before the session, covering the subject matter in a way you find helpful and making time to review previous topics in subsequent lessons. Around exam periods I also believe that 'mock' exam questions are invaluable for good exam preparation.
My initial session will be held as a consultation to discuss your needs, your learning styles and any deadlines you may have. This will give you an opportunity to decide also if you like to continue to work with me to achieve your learning goals.
