About Laqshan

My name is Laqshan and I am 20 years old. Now I know things can get difficult in selecting the right tutor. But hear me out. I scored an A+ on my SPM English subject and scored C1 on my CEFR test. I am a former STPM graduate as well and scored Band 5 on my MUET. I also won numerous awards related to English, with Public Speaking being my main strength. But I was an average student too at one point in my life. Believe it or not, I almost failed my English paper during my primary school days. But thankfully my school teacher was very kind and helpful to me. She was very patient and caring. Thanks to her and my efforts, I managed to master English skillfully. Now, I want to do the same thing my teacher did to me. I want to help students grow even higher than what I achieved in my SPM and hope they share and help other people who needs help too. Every students have different ways of adapting to learning and being a tutor, I believe that I have the capability to understand you or your kid's way of learning and delivering it so that we can grasp the maximum potential. No student is dumb and all it takes to be a great student is the efforts and a great teacher. So I want to fulfill that part for you. Lets conquer the language together

About the lesson

Are you a primary or secondary student who needs drastic improvement in English? Looking for a young, energetic and understanding teacher? I'm Laqshan, a fresh STPM graduate. Prefer to have students ranging from Standard 1 till Form 5. My style to teach the students are as below:-
- Provide tips and tricks to students on how to score their English paper
- Using innovative ways to improve your English e.g assigning students to write a report of how their day or week went to help their essay writing
- Cracking jokes during class so that the class would not be boring
- Translating words from Bahasa Melayu/Tamil to English for student's better understanding
My class runs for 2 hours and I aim to have class at least 2 days in a week so that the student could spend his time on other subjects as well. I have experience in teaching kids and have won numerous awards related to the English language so I have a clear idea on how to deal with various types of students, especially the average and weak ones. Do approach me and I can guarantee you a good result, but only if you are willing to put as much effort as I put in my students as I believe, hard work never fails.
