About Blake
My goal for where I want to be at the end of my career is to be a tenured university professor. I love to teach just as much as I love to learn, because when you teach what you learn, you retain that information even better! I want to be paid to "learn" someday too, but when you're paid, its called "researching". The universe is infinitely expanding, the world is huge and filled with all sorts of life, and new discoveries are being made every single day! How could you not want to be apart of that? We only get so many days to explore and know this vast and beautiful earth as much as we can, so lets start today, together! No matter what subject you sign up for with me, I will end up teaching you a bit of everything.

I am 27 and have a Masters of science (distinction) and bachelors of science (1st class), and earned 3 minors: Biology, Economics, and Philosophy. I take a personal approach to each student, because as I have learned from my degrees in Neuroscience and Psychology, no two brains are exactly alike. Many of them however, do need similar foundational things. I want to get this student excited about what they're learning, so I'll find a way to make it interesting to THEM and light for the first week, while introducing some core concepts and starting work on a project to get them thinking. Each lesson will last approximately 45-60 minutes depending on what is most appropriate. The second week is what I call, "some new, some review". The third week is when I introduce the more difficult concepts of the topic, however the fourth and fifth weeks are when we go more in depth. People need structure but every person is different, so lets find the path best for you!
