About Lily
I’m a dedicated mother of two amazing children, with over 15 years of teaching experience. I have a passion for continuing to learn and to teach others in a way that excites them.
In addition to teaching experience, I have worked for years with individuals who have ASD and/or various learning disabilities. I believe in regulation before education, and working through any internal struggles they face towards a subject before tackling the materials. I seek not just to teach, but to empower individuals to want to learn.

Everyone should love learning, and if they don’t, they aren’t being taught correctly! I’m a firm believer that education should be specialized to the learner. A one size fits all approach is the opposite of the way I teach. Figuring out how a student learns the best, and adapting my teaching style is something I pride myself on.
I grew up struggling in school primarily because of dyslexia and ADHD. I was lucky enough to have a mother who saw the educational system as a problem rather than me. She adapted the way she taught me and it has inspired me to help others fall in love with learning - especially to those who it doesn’t come as easily to.
