About Jess

Mainly tutoring high school students in chemistry; however, available for elementary to G12 math as well. Tutored previously in my last year of high school and gap year. Available to tutor in the London area including, but not limited to, Mt Brydges, Komoka, Byron, Strathroy, Delaware, Melbourne.

About the lesson

I, personally, am a very hands-on learner! When a question has arose previously I began by first solving the question myself before explaining my thought process when approaching the question. If I can think of an acronym or slogan to remember any information, I always try to include this information with my students. I enjoy testing different strategies to help my student learn as efficiently as possible!

She is patient and really takes the time to ensure that a student is satisfied with the learning outcomes they wish. She is also a very active member of the Western community and takes part in many extracurricular academics that has enhanced her leadership skills allowing her to be a very confident tutor and transmitting this confidence to student for testing periods. Personally, Jess tutored myself chemistry at a university level and explained key concepts to me successfully allowing me to finish we an 86% average successfully. A margin I could have never thought I’ll be capable of achieving.

I know tutoring is not for everyone, so to make sure the connection is right between myself and the student, I would love to offer the first session free!
I try to do tutoring sessions of hour intervals (Eg., 12-1 or 12-2 etc.) as these have been the most effective previously!
Travel cost only applicable if driving over 20 minutes to meet.
