About Anita
I started teaching Chinese in 2018 and since then I taught people at all ages for 2 years, from 2 years old to high school, college, and even people who are retired. Sine 2020 I worked as a reporter in Zhejiang International Channel for two years, which made my life more diverse. With the past experience, I know how hard it is to learn a language from the very beginning and the ways in which to progress your skills faster. I have the certificate for mandarin with high level, so I can make sure to offer you with the standard Chinese learning lessons.

I will customize a lesson plan for you and tailor the lessons to your goals, your interests and pacing. I have a very student driven teaching style. I act as a coach, giving you tips and teaching you how to study on your own, helping you build confidence about using Chinese in real life situations. My teaching content in each class is very organized and clear for you to learn.
To me the most important things about learning a language are being clear on your goals and keeping up your motivation. I usually try to answer the question why do you want to speak Chinese and how far do you want to go with a language. I usually start the first lesson by going over your goals and checking your current level, this helps us manage expectations and keep us on track for future lessons.
Practice makes perfect. I usually send notes after class and give out homework which you can do on your own time and then we will actually review it at the beginning of each class.
