About Maimoonha

I am a passionate individual, who has completed her graduation in management studies. I have been tutoring kids since I was 17 (I am almost 22 now). It started with my cousin needing help with math and geography. This slowly turned into a full blown part time gig, where i tutored students ranging from class 2 to 12. I realised in school that my favourite subjects were related to how much I liked the teacher teaching them, and her ways of teaching. I hated math, but I later realised I hated it because I did not like the way my teacher taugh it. This is one of the major reasons I got into teaching, as I wanted to be someone who can help kids get through difficult topics and subjects, because I wished I had someone like that for me.
Learning should be kind of fun, and I want to be someone who can make it that way.

About the lesson

Learning the basics is the key to making math easier, and making sure you are well versed with them will be my first priority. We will dive into the world of math on a pace you are comfortable with, and not leave any page unturned.
The class will start with basic explanations of the important terms and formulas, followed by the practical exercises. I like to make the kids solve each and every sum from the exercise, and make sure they’re able to do them without any guidance at the end. I also put in little tips and tricks to remember formulas, make complicated sums easier to solve, etc, and make sure the class ends with the student feeling more confident about the topic covered.
