About Arya

My teaching approach in Math is relaxed, application-focused, and tailored to today’s digital world. I connect concepts from arithmetic, algebra, and geometry to ideas in coding logic, algorithmic thinking, and discrete mathematics. For students interested in computer science, we dive into how math powers algorithms, data structures, and computational processes. When we talk about functions, we relate them to code. When we study logic, we connect it to conditionals and loops. This keeps lessons practical, especially for students who love building things or exploring how systems work. I work well with those who like structure and clarity, and also with learners who love exploring proofs and deeper reasoning. I guide them in thinking logically, breaking down problems step by step, and expressing their ideas clearly. We focus on communicating thoughts naturally and confidently, especially when tackling complex computational challenges. I encourage curiosity, not just correct answers. My goal is to help students become fluent in mathematical thinking, both for academics and for everyday digital problem-solving. Whether it’s a tricky equation or a logic puzzle, I make sure they feel supported and capable.

About the lesson

I’m a passionate Maths tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Master’s degree in Mathematics (MMath). My love for the subject goes beyond formulas and equations—I'm deeply fascinated by the history of mathematics and the evolution of mathematical thought. From the ingenious geometry of ancient Egypt to the logical breakthroughs of the Greeks and the algebraic advancements of India and the Islamic Golden Age, I explore it all.

I believe that understanding where ideas come from makes learning more meaningful. Behind every concept lies a story—of discovery, persistence, and human curiosity. I regularly integrate these stories into my lessons to spark interest and deepen comprehension.

I help students see mathematics as a dynamic human endeavor, shaped by cultures, languages, and needs. This approach not only builds appreciation but also confidence and clarity. Whether you’re preparing for exams or simply want to see the bigger picture, I’ll guide you through the intellectual heritage of math.
