About Andrew

Hi, there! I'm a first year medical student at UIWSOM with an interest in Pediatric Orthopedics, Cardiology, and Emergency Medicine. I played NCAA DIII soccer for 4 years and love playing competitive video games-- I was the 2-time NCAA ESports Regionals Super Smash Bros Champion in my division! Currently terrible at Rocket League

I am VERY patient, and I am more than happy to help students with college prep/ questions about medical school and the med school application process.

I like my sessions to be lowkey and stress-free, but I take this very seriously and am committed to improving your grades. I will also be available by text on a 24-hour, as-needed basis for simple questions outside of regular sessions.

About the lesson

During my sessions, I like to draw diagrams and work problems out by hand, explaining every detail step-by-step. I'll teach tricks and shortcuts to solving difficult problems that I've picked up over my academic career.

We would do Quick Reviews of the topics you're already comfortable in, and In-Depth work on the more uncomfortable units! :)

Each week, we'd look over Homework, past quizzes and exams (if possible), and outside-source practice questions that I would procure myself. I'll provide step-by-step instructions with emphasis on visual aid (when applicable) and help you work through the most difficult questions.
