Hello, everyone!

I am your Chinese teacher. I’m studying for my postgraduate degree and have undergone extensive training in Chinese International Education, and I have certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages.

Currently, I am interning at a prestigious private school. My student named the top Chinese language student at Chinese Bridge Competition this year.

I find Chinese as a special tonal language with cube-like Chinese characters. Hope you can enjoy the beauty of Chinese and get started with me!

About the lesson

I offer a range of services aimed at meeting the needs of learners at all levels.

Firstly, I provide lessons to assess students' learning requirements and language proficiency, using the assessment results to customize the course content for each student.

In formal lessons, my focus is on oral practice and grammar exercises, covering accent training, everyday spoken language, business communication, and daily email composition.

Additionally, to help learners prepare for the HSK and NCEA exams, I will emphasize key points related to the exams and provide relevant exercises to ensure students achieve excellent results in the exams.

My teaching approach is diverse and engaging. In addition to traditional classroom teaching, I will incorporate Chinese language explanations from TV dramas, popular songs, and slang. For example, we can watch the Chinese TV drama "Home with Kids" (《家有儿女》) together and immerse ourselves in learning "living" Chinese within the context of the drama. By watching the series, students can grasp authentic Chinese expressions, daily communication, and cultural backgrounds. We can engage in interactive discussions based on the dialogues and situations in the drama, making learning Chinese a pleasant experience.

My goal is to ensure that learners can acquire knowledge systematically and efficiently in my classes while maintaining a joyful learning atmosphere. I look forward to progressing together with each student on the path of Chinese language learning. Thank you!
