My name is Njenji, and I am a dedicated and passionate Math tutor with years of experience helping young learners master Arithmetic, Algebra, and Geometry. About the lesson

As a passionate and experienced Maths tutor trained in the Cameroon Primary School Curriculum, I specialize in teaching Class 4 to Class 6 pupils who are preparing for official exams like the First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) and Government Common Entrance.

My Teaching Method:
I use a competence-based approach, focusing on real-life problem-solving and active learning. I teach Maths in a simple, step-by-step manner, ensuring that each child fully understands before moving to the next topic. I blend oral drills, interactive exercises, and local examples from everyday life (market shopping, local games, nature, etc.) to make Maths relevant and fun.

A Typical Lesson Plan Includes:
Revision of previous topics to build retention.

Introduction of a new topic using local context and visuals.

Guided examples with teacher and student solving together.

Practice exercises (stimulus-based and exam-style questions).

Feedback and correction with explanation of mistakes.
