About Sai Pavan
I’m currently completing a Master of Teaching (Secondary) at Flinders University, driven by a genuine passion for helping students grow in Mathematics. Before this, I spent two years working as a Financial Analyst in the construction industry, which sharpened my analytical thinking and also my ability to explain complex ideas clearly. I’ve also spent time freelance tutoring high school and university students in Melbourne, which showed me how much a patient, personalized approach can change a student’s confidence. I believe every student can succeed when concepts are explained in a way that matches how they learn.

I teach by breaking concepts down into small, manageable steps, checking understanding as we go rather than rushing ahead. Lessons are patient, encouraging and tailored to how each student learns best. A typical session starts with reviewing tricky homework or concepts, works through guided examples, then finishes with practice questions to build confidence. My lessons suit high school students in Years 7 to 12 studying Mathematics or Commerce, as well as university students needing help with foundational finance and quantitative subjects. What sets me apart is combining a Master of Teaching (in progress) with a finance background and two years’ experience as a financial analyst, so I can connect classroom maths to real-world application.
