About Aurora
I have dedicated the last 7 years to helping students unlock their mathematical potential. I hold a B.S. in Mathematics Education and was recently honored with the "Regional Excellence in STEM Instruction" award for my success in teaching Calculus and Statistics to high schoolers. Outside of my professional life as a tutor, I am a competitive strategy game player and an amateur architect. I find that the spatial reasoning required to design a building or the tactical planning needed for a high-level game are identical to the logic used in Geometry and Algebra. I love bringing these real-world examples into our lessons to prove that math is not just a school subject, but a tool for creating and navigating the world around us.

In my live one-to-one Mathematics sessions, I transform abstract numbers into a tangible language of logic for K-12, high school, and first-year college students. We utilize high-end digital whiteboards on Zoom to explore the nuances of Calculus, Trigonometry, Statistics, Algebra, and Geometry in real-time.
