About Maia

About the lesson

Let me help you learn! I use real-world examples, storytelling and memorable rhymes to make tricky concepts digestible. Together we will work through your tricky topics using a variety of materials from models to exam questions, to help you achieve the grade you want.

I have a master's degree in Wildlife filmmaking and a bachelor's degree in Biology and Marine Biology from the University of Southampton. I have worked as a teacher in the USA and Japan, teaching ages 4-18. I have also worked extensively in the field filming elephants, flamingos and eagles, using my excellent knowledge of zoology, ecology and biology.

My lessons are an hour long. I look forward to working with you!
