I am currently studying for my masters degree in Mathematics at Loughborough univeristy and will hopefully pursue a PhD after. I find great joy in helping other people to learn and to gain a true understanding of maths.

My teaching methodology is to firstly start with understanding what level of knowledge they currently have of the topic, this will then allow me to guide them accurately from where they currently are to where they need to be. I believe maths teaching should be mainly problem solving based and the role of the tutor should uld be to give them enough information to allow the student to tackle the problems ahead which will result in a true understanding of the topic.
