About Sasha

Hello! I'm Sasha, a friendly, patient and approachable tutor from the UK with a passion for travel and connecting with people from different cultures. As a native English speaker, I've been incredibly fortunate to experience the freedom that speaking English has given me while travelling, and I'd love to help my students gain that same confidence and open up new opportunities through learning the language. I have experience working with children, young people and adults in one-to-one and educational settings, and I enjoy helping others build their confidence in a supportive and relaxed environment. I believe learning English should be enjoyable, practical and tailored to each student's individual goals, whether that's for travel, work, study or everyday conversation.

About the lesson

I believe learning should be engaging, supportive and tailored to each individual. I use a student-centred approach, adapting lessons to suit each learner's goals, interests and learning style. My lessons focus on building confidence through speaking, listening, reading and writing, while incorporating real-life conversations and practical language that students can use in everyday situations. I create a relaxed and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.

Lessons are typically 60 minutes, although I can also offer 30-minute sessions for younger learners or those looking for shorter, more focused practice.

I hold a Master's degree in Psychology and a Bachelor's degree in Education, Development and Society. I have experience working as a private home-school teacher and have supported children and young people with a range of learning needs. My background has given me strong communication skills, patience and the ability to adapt my teaching to suit learners of different ages, abilities and confidence levels. I am currently working towards expanding my TEFL teaching experience and am passionate about helping students develop their English in a supportive environment.

I welcome children, teenagers and adults from beginner to intermediate level. Whether you're learning English for travel, work, school or everyday conversation, I tailor each lesson to your individual goals and help you build confidence at your own pace.
