About Lisa
I am a social-constructivist, which means that I conform to the idea that each student enters the classroom with their own canvas of skills, knowledge, and attitudes. I believe that in my lessons we can use these to develop further skills and knowledge. I also believe that social interactions are key to developing skills in a meaningful and long-lasting manner.

My lessons are student centered. This means that I will have an outline of what needs to be done but your needs will guide how we go about doing the lesson. Your needs are important and this will be the starting point of our lesson each time. We will focus on developing your skills based on what you already know and how we can integrate the new knowledge into your current knowledge.
