About Eric
Education: I have a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the College of William and Mary in Virginia, a master's degree in mathematics from Montana State University, and am in my final year of my PhD in mathematics at Montana State University.
Prior experience: I have tutored elementary through college level mathematics, as well as introductory college level physics and chemistry. I have taught a variety of college level mathematics courses including college algebra, calculus I, and calculus II. I have tutored and been a teaching assistant for other college level courses including linear algebra, multivariable calculus, abstract algebra, and topology.

I am interested in helping to inspire and instill confidence and competency in others, within the context of mathematics. Rather than simply provide answers, I prefer to guide one to the solution through an exploration of ideas, building intuition and fluency along the way. If there is one thing to be learned from mathematics, it is the ability to analyze and solve complex problems.
I am interested in working with students of all ages and perceived abilities.
