My teaching methods are understanding the basic math concepts and some of their example questions. Secondly, summarizing several general ways to solve problems affiliated to the same knowledge point. I will use concepts based on my math classes in high school and university.
I am an mathematics students. I already received my bachelor degree in mathematic statistics in University of Waterloo. My ranking in mathematic courses usually around top-5 when I was in high school and university. I give privacy math lessons to high school and university students since June 2020.

Projects and Assignments:
• Project of Accounting Class: Analyzing the Expense of a corporation that has 4 divisions in different locations
o Merging the worksheets that contain different divisions’ expenses into one worksheet by using Excel/VBA; the purpose of merging is to make comparison easier and clearer
o Applying “advanced filter” on the merged worksheet to sort the data into different groups according to data categories
o By merging the worksheets and applying “advanced filter”, the data are categorized and combined, I was able to see the trend of expenses clearly
o My approaches simplified the project on a large scale, I almost received the full mark for this project
• Evaluating the importance of a variety of factors of insured cars claims from an English insurance company
o Import the data to R and set each variable as indicator variable except factors which can be offset
o Use the claims of the insured car as response variable and fit the data to a log-linear model
o Utilize the estimation result of each parameter to predict relative rate of claims and its confidence interval
o Apply deviance test and null hypothesis test to determine whether the factors and their interaction variables is important
o p-value will be considered as the observing variable, the factor is crucial once the p-value is lower than 0.05
o Deviance test can also apply for determining the importance of parameters in each factor group
• Project of Statistic class: Forecasting future trend of time series of error of robot moving distance
o This program is about finding the range of future changing trend of error of the real robot moving distance compare to the ideal moving distance
o Import the data to R and change it to time series data, then using the ACF and PACF graph to determine whether the time series is stationary or non-stationary
o Using R to find the AR(p), MA(q), ARMA(p,q) or ARIMA(p,d,q) model which best fit the time series through comparing the lowest Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) value
o Predict the future trend of the time series though utilizing forecast function on the best ARIMA model
o My effort in this project acquired the expected effect, and the professor enough consent my overall performance and work
