About Nick
I studied Mathematics at the University of Washington, graduating in 2014. During and after that time, I've worked continuously as a private math tutor and teacher. Additionally, I have 5 years of online teaching experience. I believe online math teaching can be as effective as in-person, especially in a 1 on 1 or small group setting.

I love to teach students of all levels, no matter what your goals are. From young students struggling with skip counting to college students trying to remember different methods for solving diff eqs-I just want to help students understand and build confidence. The first and most important lesson is that it is OK to not understand things initially- that's a great place to start!
Once we've met and I understand your math needs, I will build a curriculum with clear benchmarks and end goal.
A lesson will typically be based around solving a number of problems together, where I gradually let the student tackle more and more of the steps as we go.
