About Esmeralda
Math was my primary language long before I transitioned into a career as a full-stack developer. I hold a BS Mathematics degree which allows me to explain linear algebra and word problems with deep clarity.
Throughout 7 years of teaching 429 students, I have integrated Vedic math techniques into standard calculus and coordinate geometry lessons. I also handle competition math prep and SAT/ACT math prep using specific logic drills.
These 8.0 level concepts become manageable when we break them into small components. My approach is rooted in the idea that anyone can solve a problem if they have the right tools. I enjoy working with students who have historically felt ignored by traditional classroom settings.

Customizing the curriculum begins by observing exactly how you approach a math problem before I offer any correction. I analyze your current logic to see where you might be hitting a wall with topics like calculus or SAT prep. My lessons focus on teaching you to see the structure of a problem rather than just memorizing a formula. We use specific techniques like vedic math to speed up your mental processing during difficult calculations.
Because I work from an industry-grounded perspective, I focus on the practical application of these mathematical concepts. I am usually available if you want to schedule a time to talk about your goals.
