About Emma
I studied mathematics for four years at University of Exeter. I am passionate about mathematics and teaching. I specialise in algebra but would be able to tutor for any topic of maths up to A level standard, including further mathematics.

I approach each topic by getting a good understanding of what the student is struggling with and working towards helping the student overcome that obstacle. I would then determine if they understand it enough and go through some practise questions with them, to help embed the learning. For some topics, I would rephrase the problem to involve real world applications, to give the student context and a better understanding.
