About Dale
My passion for mathematics grew from fascination with patterns, logic, and analytical problem-solving. I earned a B.Sc in Pure Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, gaining expertise in both abstract theory and practical application. Over 12 years, I have taught students of varying abilities, helping them move from confusion to clarity while building confidence, mastery, and genuine appreciation for the subject.
I believe mathematics is best taught through exploration, visualization, and structured reasoning. Many learners struggle with abstract concepts or procedural memorization, so I incorporate interactive exercises, applied examples, and iterative problem-solving to make learning meaningful and engaging. Lessons are tailored to the student’s pace, style, and academic goals, fostering both competence and enthusiasm.
Outside teaching, I explore research, competitions, and interdisciplinary applications of mathematics. Teaching mathematics is profoundly rewarding because I witness learners develop confidence, critical thinking, and intellectual curiosity. Supporting students in becoming independent, capable, and inspired mathematicians is the most fulfilling aspect of my work.
