About Gabe

My passion for mathematics began with fascination for how abstract ideas can explain real-world systems in science, technology, and economics. This curiosity led me to complete an M.Sc in Pure Mathematics, where I explored deeper theoretical reasoning and advanced problem-solving structures. Over the past 8 years, I have guided students through mathematical challenges with patience and structured teaching.

My teaching style focuses on conceptual understanding. I break down complex problems into manageable steps, use visual reasoning when helpful, and encourage learners to ask questions freely. I want students to feel supported and capable at every stage of learning.

Outside tutoring, I remain engaged with mathematics through continued study and exploring its applications in modelling, data science, and research. Teaching maths is rewarding because I see learners transform from doubt into confidence. My goal is to help students trust their abilities and achieve lasting success.

About the lesson

Mathematics becomes much easier when students realise it is built on logical patterns rather than memorised tricks. In my lessons, I guide learners through algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus basics, and probability with clear explanation and steady encouragement. I focus on helping students understand why methods work, so they can solve problems independently. Each session includes guided examples, practice exercises, and feedback that strengthens confidence over time. My goal is to make maths structured, approachable, and empowering.

Lessons are always adapted to each learner’s level. Beginners strengthen arithmetic fluency, fractions, equations, and foundational confidence. Intermediate learners develop stronger algebraic manipulation, graph interpretation, geometry reasoning, and exam strategies. Advanced students explore calculus applications, probability challenges, optimisation problems, and deeper analytical thinking. Every lesson builds long-term understanding rather than temporary memorisation.

Maths lessons also develop patience, resilience, and logical clarity. Students learn to approach challenges calmly and trust their reasoning. Many improve across other subjects once maths becomes clearer. My mission is to help learners succeed academically while building lifelong analytical skills.
