About Jaya

I am a Mathematics postgraduate with a passion for teaching and over 20 years of professional experience in the IT industry. After a successful career in technology, I chose to pursue my true passion—helping students build confidence and excel in Mathematics.

I teach Mathematics to students from Classes 5 to 9, focusing on developing strong conceptual understanding, logical thinking, and effective problem-solving skills. My lessons are interactive, student-centered, and tailored to each learner's pace and learning style. I strive to make Mathematics simple, engaging, and enjoyable.

In addition to Mathematics, I teach Computer Science, covering computer fundamentals, programming basics, and introductory coding. Drawing on my extensive industry experience, I connect theoretical concepts with practical applications, helping students develop valuable analytical and computational thinking skills.

Whether your goal is to strengthen fundamentals, improve academic performance, or gain confidence in Mathematics or Computer Science, I am committed to providing a supportive and encouraging learning environment where every student can succeed.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is centered on making learning simple, interactive, and enjoyable. I explain concepts using clear logic and relatable real-life examples so that students understand the "why" behind every topic instead of just memorizing formulas or procedures.

I believe learning is most effective when it is a two-way process. My classes are highly interactive, encouraging students to ask questions, share their ideas, and actively participate in discussions. Rather than simply providing answers, I guide students to explore different approaches and discover solutions on their own. This helps them develop logical reasoning, critical thinking, and confidence in problem-solving.

I encourage students to solve problems in multiple ways whenever possible, helping them understand that there is often more than one path to the correct answer. This flexibility builds deeper conceptual understanding and prepares them to tackle unfamiliar questions with confidence.

To ensure every student receives individual attention, I prefer teaching small batches of 5–10 students. This allows me to understand each student's learning style, address their doubts effectively, and create a comfortable environment where everyone feels encouraged to participate and grow.
