About Aarav
My journey in Mathematics began with an early fascination with patterns, logic, and problem-solving. This curiosity led me to pursue an M.Sc in Mathematical Sciences, where I gained a deep understanding of mathematical theory and applications. Over 10 years of teaching experience, I have guided students ranging from elementary school math learners to those preparing for SAT math and Calculus exams. My teaching philosophy focuses on helping students develop conceptual clarity, confidence, and independent reasoning, creating a foundation that supports both academic achievement and lifelong critical thinking. I emphasize adaptability and empathy in my teaching approach. I carefully observe how each student thinks and tailor explanations to their cognitive style. By using stepwise reasoning, visualizations, and real-world examples, I make abstract concepts like geometry, algebra, and Calculus tangible and understandable. I encourage questions, exploration, and learning from mistakes, fostering a safe and supportive environment where students feel empowered to grow and experiment. Outside the classroom, I actively engage with mathematics through research, problem-solving, and curriculum development.
