About Vira

I have 13 years of experience teaching Mathematics to students across a wide range of levels, from foundational learning to advanced exam preparation. I earned an M.Sc in Pure Mathematics, which strengthened my understanding of mathematical logic, structure, and deeper problem-solving methods. This academic background allows me to teach maths with clarity and strong conceptual grounding.

My teaching approach is encouraging, patient, and focused on helping students feel safe while learning. I enjoy showing learners that maths is not about speed, but about understanding. I guide students carefully through difficult topics, helping them build confidence step by step.

Outside tutoring, I stay connected to mathematics through continuous study, puzzle-based exploration, and interest in how mathematical thinking supports technology and science. Teaching maths is rewarding because students often shift from doubt to confidence once they experience clear understanding. Helping learners believe in their abilities is what motivates my work.

About the lesson

Mathematics becomes much less stressful when students learn to approach it with reasoning and structure rather than fear. In my lessons, I guide learners through algebra, geometry, functions, calculus foundations, and problem-solving strategies in a clear and supportive way. I focus on building deep understanding of concepts so students can recognise patterns, apply methods confidently, and feel steady progress over time. Each session creates a calm environment where mistakes are treated as learning steps.

Lesson plans are always personalised. Beginners work on strengthening arithmetic confidence, basic algebraic manipulation, and foundational geometry. Intermediate learners develop skill in equations, graph interpretation, trigonometry, and multi-step reasoning. Advanced students refine calculus methods, exam-level problem solving, proof-based thinking, and accuracy under timed conditions. Practice is always paired with explanation so learners understand both how and why solutions work.

Mathematics helps students build discipline, confidence, and sharper thinking across subjects. Over time, learners develop resilience and clarity in approaching challenges. My goal is to help every student feel capable, supported, and proud of their mathematical growth.
