About Grace

Mathematics tutor with 8 years of experience teaching advanced high school and college students. Have successfully taught around 250 students, helping many prepare for competitive exams, research projects, and university-level mathematics. My teaching philosophy is built on logical rigor and conceptual clarity. I focus on building strong proof-writing skills while developing advanced problem-solving techniques. Notable achievements include helping over 40 students secure top ranks in national mathematics Olympiads and guiding several to publish research papers. I create a supportive, intellectually challenging environment where questions are celebrated. I keep detailed records of each session to track progress and adjust methods as needed. Whether you are preparing for competitive exams or pursuing research, I tailor every lesson to your specific goals.

My teaching approach for Mathematics and related subjects is built on abstraction, logical proof, and pattern recognition. I connect every advanced concept to its foundational roots, so you understand the 'why' behind each theorem. We break down topics like real analysis, complex analysis, abstract algebra, and topology into clear, structured reasoning. I encourage creative thinking by asking you to construct proofs and find counterexamples. Motivation comes from setting mastery goals, solving Olympiad-style problems, and celebrating each elegant solution. Integrity means I give honest feedback, never accept hand-waving, and always adapt to your learning style. For Mathematics, we cover real analysis (sequences, continuity, differentiation, integration), complex analysis (analytic functions, contour integrals), linear algebra (vector spaces, eigenvalues, SVD), differential equations (ordinary and partial), probability theory (distributions, expectations, limit theorems), discrete mathematics, number theory, and combinatorics. We also work on proof writing, mathematical modeling, and algorithm design. I also teach related subjects that support your math mastery: Physics for Math – mechanics and electromagnetism applications. Computer Science for Math – algorithms, graph theory, and cryptography. Economics for Math – game theory and optimization. In every lesson, I use case studies from pure and applied mathematics and my own students. For example, I show how one student mastered contour integration using a visual method, then we apply that to your current problems. I share stories of students who improved by writing daily proofs. My sessions are rigorous and interactive. We solve advanced problems, construct proofs, use computational tools, and discuss mathematical philosophy. I assign homework like proving a theorem, solving five complex problems, or creating a model for a real-world scenario. I adapt my pace to your goals, whether for exams, research, or intellectual growth. I never compare you to others, only to your previous self. I keep detailed notes of each lesson so we always build on what we did before. My goal is to make you a confident, rigorous, and creative mathematician.
