About Maurizio
I am a mathematician with one and a half years of experience in in-home and online tutoring. I received my Bachelor's degree (in mathematics) summa cum laude in Padua, where I also do a very selective honors track. I'm currently finishing my master's degree (double degree in Regensburg and Leiden University). My average grade in the Dutch system is 9.54 / 10 (1.0 in the German system) and I am going to graduate at the end of June. I speak Italian (native), English (C2), Dutch (B1) and Spanish (B1).

I believe that problems with mathematics are usually due to a too mechanical approach. I place a lot of emphasis on helping the student develop a deeper understanding. In my lessons, quality always comes for quantity. I want to teach my student BETTER mathematics, not just more mathematics! I regularly expect self-study from my pupils, so they can always keep up. I will adapt the lessons to the specific needs of the student and I can produce personalized study material as needed. Normally I give homeworks on regular basis.
