About Joseph

I have recently completed my GCSEs where I got 7 grade 9s, 4 grade 8s, and a grade 7 which I feel gives me a unique perspective as a student, who has just recently learnt the curriculum, what is most useful and beneficial to achieve top grades. I also was able to help many of my peers whilst studying which I immensely enjoyed.

Aside from my love of supporting others in work, I am a keen sportsman playing at a high level of hockey and trying my best at golf. To do with this, I also volunteer to coach at my local hockey club which I enjoy and has helped me grow and have a greater understanding whilst helping others.

About the lesson

In a typical one hour session you can expect a variety of practice questions and worked examples to help build confidence and fluency, as well as a mix of challenge questions in which I aim to help build resilience and a strong problem solving mind set though breaking down the question into manageable parts. Finally I will finish with a task which will be set as independent consolidation ready to be marked and further explained where needed in the upcoming session.
