About Greta
I have always loved mathematics, leading me to pursue a B.Sc in Mathematics Education and dedicate seven years to teaching learners of all ages. I enjoy fostering confidence, curiosity, and a deep understanding of the subject. My approach focuses on patient guidance, interactive exercises, and individualized instruction to help students succeed academically. Throughout my teaching career, I have guided students through elementary school math, middle school math, algebra, geometry, and SAT math preparation. I emphasize understanding principles, structured problem-solving, and building independent thinking. Watching students develop confidence and competence is incredibly rewarding. Outside teaching, I continue exploring new exercises, creative puzzles, and real-world applications to enhance my lessons. I integrate these experiences to make learning relevant, engaging, and practical. I aim to support each learner in gaining mastery, confidence, and a lasting appreciation for mathematics.

My Maths lessons begin with elementary school math, covering number operations, fractions, decimals, and problem-solving strategies. I focus on creating a strong foundation, ensuring learners understand concepts fully. Using interactive exercises and visual aids, I help students build confidence while fostering curiosity and analytical thinking from the very start.
As learners progress into middle school math, we explore expressions, equations, ratios, coordinate grids, and geometry. I provide structured problem-solving exercises and step-by-step explanations that strengthen reasoning and analytical skills. Students learn to approach multi-step problems carefully, prepare for higher-level algebra, and develop the skills necessary for standardized tests such as SAT math.
For advanced learners or exam preparation, lessons cover algebra, advanced geometry, word problems, and targeted SAT math strategies. Students practice analyzing questions, applying formulas efficiently, and solving complex problems with confidence. My aim is to ensure learners gain mastery, perform well academically, and develop problem-solving abilities that are valuable both in school and in everyday life.
