About Talia
I have 9 years of experience teaching maths, supported by a Bachelor’s in Mathematics and a Master’s in Applied Mathematics. My journey started with a strong interest in numbers and logical thinking. Over the years, I have helped many students improve their understanding and confidence in maths.
My teaching style is clear, patient, and structured. I believe every student can learn maths with the right guidance. I break down complex topics into simple steps and provide regular practice to strengthen understanding. I also focus on building confidence so students do not feel afraid of the subject.
Outside of teaching, I continue exploring mathematical concepts and problem-solving techniques. This helps me bring fresh ideas into my lessons. Teaching maths is meaningful to me because I see students grow from confusion to clarity. Helping them build confidence and succeed in their learning journey is truly rewarding.

My maths lessons are designed to help students understand concepts clearly instead of memorising steps. I focus on building a strong foundation by explaining ideas in simple and logical ways. Topics like algebra, arithmetic, and problem solving are taught using step-by-step methods that make learning easy to follow. I also use real-life examples to show how maths is useful in everyday situations. Each lesson is calm and structured so students can learn without pressure.
As students improve, I introduce more challenging problems and guide them through different solving strategies. We practise regularly to build speed, accuracy, and confidence. I also focus on clearing doubts and helping students understand mistakes so they can improve faster. Lessons are adjusted based on each student’s level and learning pace.
My goal is to help students feel confident and comfortable with maths. I support them in building strong thinking skills and problem-solving ability. Over time, students start enjoying maths more and become independent learners. I create a positive environment where they feel encouraged to ask questions, explore ideas, and grow with confidence.
