About Mallika

I have received 9s in all my GCSEs, including Maths, Further Maths and Sciences. I am now an A level student, predicted A*s in Chemistry, Biology and Maths A levels.
I have applied to study Medicine at university and have received interviews from all the universities I applied to.

I am also a dancer, singer and artist. I have interned at a childcare centre, volunteered teaching children basic Maths, Science and English, and have taught up to year 8 Math and year 11 Biology in the past. I have also been a scribe for mentally challenged pupils, so I am very patient with children.

I was not great at Maths in the past, and was stuck at Bs and Cs, but I managed to find ways to improve and receive A*s now. I understand how frustrating it can be to not understand the subject so I hope that I can help you improve your understanding of Maths as well, just as I did my own :))

About the lesson

I teach Maths in ways that best suit the student’s learning style. I break down large concepts into smaller chunks and work on explaining each in a way that’s easy to understand.

I can also help with exam preparation by helping the student find practice questions and learn strategies for revision.

I am friendly and personable, and want the best for those that come to me.

I would prefer if the student told me in advance what topic they would like to work on so I can refresh it and come up with fun analogies and ways to help understand the concepts :))
